You are in control of the learner’s data. Consent is informed, specific, and revocable.
- Guardian consent is the lawful basis for involving a child.
- The analyse step (which decides the best teaching method) runs ONLY after a guardian signs the emailed consent. It is NOT a diagnosis and is intended for learners who already have a formal diagnosis.
- Sprout can also help people who exhibit these traits without a formal diagnosis (support mode) — but a formal diagnosis is mandatory for full support, and we will point you to a professional.
- Separate, optional choices cover analysis, AI processing, microphone/audio, and anonymised research.
- AI features stay off until you allow AI processing; analysis stays off until the signed consent is on file.
- You can change or withdraw any choice at any time in the app.
